"I had a friend, who wished to remain anonymous. She was a sad soul. Twisted and mortified with an anguish that only comes from being judged, she viewed herself as being unappealing to her peers. Looking in the mirror only revealed the lies that people told her. They said that she was ugly. This wasn't true. I wanted her to see herself through God's eyes. I wanted her to truly understand that she's beautiful and loved. That no matter what people told her, that she's still cherished by the savior of nations. I believe that this song can use her as an example to show other people that they're beautiful and loved in God's eyes. That He will cherish them no matter what."
